Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

Beauty'd and its apps, Beauty'd Pro and Get Beauty'd, are operated by BIZYROCKET LLC. This policy covers the website and both apps. Questions about privacy go to our contact page at beautied.com/contact.

Information We Collect

Provider Information: Name, email, phone number, business name, business type, payment information, and service details provided during registration and use of the Service.

Client Information: Names, phone numbers, appointment history, notes, and preferences. A client gives us their own name and phone number when they book online. The rest is entered by the Provider.

Reviews: When a client leaves a review after an appointment, we collect the star rating, the comment, and the client's name. The review is shown to the Provider and on the Provider's public booking page, with the star rating, the comment, and the client's first name and last initial. Reviews a Provider brings over from a site they used before are shown the same way after our team checks them.

When a salon chooses to, we show reviews its clients left about it on other public sites, such as Booksy, with the reviewer's first name and last initial. Anyone can take a review off our page with the link beside it; that doesn't change the other site.

License Verification: When a Provider asks us to verify a professional license, we collect the license number, the state and type of license, a photo of the license, and photos of the front and back of a government-issued photo ID. We also save a picture of the state licensing board's public record for that license.

Billing Address: A Provider's billing address: street, city, state, postal code, and country.

Suggestions and Ideas: When you send us a suggestion or a problem report, or post on our ideas board, we collect what you wrote, any screenshots you attach and the notes you add to them, and the address of the page you were on. An ideas board post can include your name and email address if you choose to give them. Ideas board posts can be seen by other visitors.

Inventory groups: if a Provider joins an inventory group, the other members see the products the Provider sells from shared stock (item, price, seller and date). They do not see the Provider's clients. Past sales stay in the group's records after a Provider leaves.

App Notifications: When a Provider or a client turns on notifications, we store a notification token for that phone or browser, the type of device, the app version, and when it was last used. The token only lets us send notices to that device.

How We Use Information

  • To provide scheduling, reminder, and payment services
  • To send SMS reminders and confirmations to clients
  • To process payments through integrated payment providers
  • To review the suggestions, ideas, and problem reports you send us, and to fix and improve the Service
  • To communicate with Providers about their account
  • To verify that a Provider holds the professional license they submitted
  • To send appointment notices to the app or browser instead of by text message

SMS Communications

Beauty'd sends text messages (SMS) to two groups. To clients, on behalf of Providers: appointment reminders, confirmations, waitlist offers, and rebooking prompts. To Providers who give us their mobile number: texts about their account and, only if they agree to them, free-trial reminders and offers from Beauty'd. Our messaging providers, Telnyx and Twilio, deliver these texts.

Clients subscribe to appointment texts when they book. Providers subscribe to account texts when they give us their mobile number. Agreeing to free-trial and offer texts is never required to book or to sign up. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for their marketing.

Phone Calls

When a Provider turns on the AI receptionist, calls it answers are recorded. At the start of every call, the receptionist tells the caller that it is an automated assistant and that the call is recorded.

A recording includes both sides of the call and may contain the caller’s name, phone number and appointment details. We use recordings to run the AI receptionist for the Provider and to find and fix problems with it. Only our staff can listen to recordings. Calls are answered and recorded through Telnyx, our phone provider. We do not sell recordings or use them for advertising.

Recordings are kept while the Provider’s account is open. A caller or a Provider can ask us to delete a recording at any time through our contact page.

Voices

If a salon chooses to have the AI receptionist speak in a real person's voice (the salon owner's own, or someone who signed our Authorized Voice Use form), we and our voice provider (currently Telnyx, which uses Cartesia; both in the US) keep the recording and a voice model made from it. We use them only to answer that salon's calls, and never sell them or use them for anything else. Our voice provider may also use what it processes to improve its own services, under its data-protection terms. The salon can delete the voice anytime, and the person whose voice it is can withdraw anytime through the withdraw link they got when signing, or through our contact page. Within 30 days after either of those, after the salon closes its account, or after one year in which the voice answers no calls, we delete our copy of the recording and the voice model and have our voice provider delete the voice model. Recordings our voice provider processed are deleted under its own terms. We keep the consent record (never the voice) for at least 3 years after the voice stops being used, as our voice provider requires.

Payment Processing

Payment information is processed by Stripe and/or Square. Beauty'd does not store full credit card numbers. Payment processing is subject to the respective privacy policies of Stripe (stripe.com/privacy) and Square (squareup.com/legal/privacy). If you connect your own Stripe account, we use that connection only to take payments and give refunds for your Beauty'd bookings.

Data Retention

We keep Provider and client data while the Provider's account is open. When a Provider cancels, the account stays open until the paid time ends, then closes: it no longer shows anywhere in Beauty'd, and we keep it for up to 18 months in case the Provider returns and to finish services, bills, refunds and card disputes. After 18 months we permanently delete it. Providers may export their data at any time before account closure. Suggestions, ideas, and problem reports are kept so that we can act on them, and may be kept after an account is closed. After an account is deleted, records and recordings of phone calls our system handled are deleted when the business asks through our contact page, and a phone's notification code can stay until the person logs out of the app or deletes it.

When a Provider deletes their account, it disappears from Beauty'd at once and can be undeleted for 60 days. After 60 days we erase it from our servers. Encrypted backup copies are kept for up to 18 months and then destroyed.

If a Provider never paid us and cancels, we remove their account immediately and erase its data as soon as technically and reasonably possible, usually within 30 days. Backup copies are erased as the backups roll over and are never used to restore these accounts.

What we keep after you cancel or delete: the information we need to comply with the law, such as billing, payment and tax records, for as long as the law requires; and what we need to stop misuse of our free trial, a scrambled copy of your phone number and email, for 3 years. We use these for nothing else.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their advertising or marketing.

License and ID photos are encrypted when they are uploaded and are used only to check the license. We do not keep a Provider's documents. If the license is approved, we permanently delete the photos right away. If it is not approved, we keep the photos for 30 days so the Provider can ask us, through our contact page, to review it again without uploading them a second time, and then we permanently delete them. A Provider can delete them sooner at any time by clearing the license. We keep the license number, its status, and a picture of the state licensing board's own public web page for that license while the Provider's account is open.

A notification token is deleted when you log out, when you turn notifications off in the app, or when Apple or your browser's notification service tells us the token no longer works.

Finding salons near you

If you let your browser or phone share your location, or you type an address or ZIP code, we use it only for that one search, to show salons near you. We do not save it, link it to you, or share it, except with the map service that turns a typed address into a place on the map.

Salons appear in these searches by their salon address. A Provider without a salon address appears by the center of their billing ZIP code, shown only as a distance, never as an address.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (TLS), secure authentication, and regular security reviews. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

We share data with third-party services necessary to provide the Service: Telnyx and Twilio (calls and text messages), Stripe (payments), Square (payments), Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar. Data shared is limited to what's necessary for each service's function.

App notifications are delivered through Apple (on iPhone) or through the notification service of the browser you use, such as Google's on Android and Chrome. A notice contains a short message about the appointment (that it was requested, confirmed, changed, or cancelled) and a link to it. To verify a license, we look up the license number on the state licensing board's public website. License and ID photos are stored encrypted on our servers and are not shared with third parties. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing above and are not shared with any third parties.

U.S. Census Bureau geocoder (finding salons near an address).

Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. Providers are responsible for responding to data requests from their clients.

A Provider can clear a submitted license at any time in their licensing settings, which permanently deletes any license and ID photos we still hold. You can turn off app notifications at any time in the app or in your device or browser settings.
